Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and sports-related conditions. Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities while providing education on proper techniques and assistive devices to patients and caregivers. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and discuss progress to ensure cohesive care strategies. Maintain excellent customer service by actively engaging with patients to foster trust-based relationships. Meet performance metrics and participate in quality improvement initiatives within the clinic. Work onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility in Fredericksburg, VA.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program
- Current state licensure to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Competence in using electronic medical record systems
- Proficiency in office software applications
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically focusing on rehabilitation or outpatient physical therapy
- Experience in treating a wide range of conditions across multiple specialties, including sports medicine, orthopedics, and pediatrics
