Onsite Endoscopic Specialist, OR1 - Albany

Job Summary

Provide on-site support and technical expertise to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams to ensure seamless surgical operations. Set up, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot video towers, camera systems, light sources, and related technologies while responding to equipment issues in real time. Coordinate repairs, exchanges, service requests, and inventory tracking to maintain equipment availability, and transport, clean, sterilize, package, and inspect surgical instruments per hospital policy. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, lifting up to 25 pounds. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and technical support within a global MedTech environment focused on advanced visualization solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in healthcare, sterile processing, surgical technology, medical device support, customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across clinical and operational teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting and transporting equipment up to 25 pounds
  • Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher
  • CRCST certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Experience supporting surgical instruments, endoscopy equipment, or medical devices
  • Knowledge of operating room, sterile processing, or healthcare workflows
  • A customer-first mindset and passion for supporting healthcare professionals
  • Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills, especially in high-pressure clinical environments
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, products, and processes
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A collaborative approach that fosters trust and strong relationships with customers, clinical staff, and colleagues
  • Professional presence with confidence communicating across all levels of an organization
