Job Summary
Onsite AV Service Technician at a client site responsible for maintaining client relationships and providing routine maintenance and repairs for audiovisual systems. Duties include supporting end-user meetings/conferences/events, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting faults, coordinating with manufacturers/vendors for equipment repair, maintaining inventory/tracking records, and producing reports. Requires 1-3 years of AV support experience, strong client-service skills, and relevant AV certifications (preferably AVIXA CTS, Crestron, Biamp, networking/IT). Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary education preferred. The role is in-person at a Washington, DC site with hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of commercial AV support with video conferencing, unified communications, and collaboration platforms
- face-to-face client technical systems support
- AV-related certifications such as AVIXA CTS, Crestron, Biamp, Networking/IT certifications (preferred)
- excellent communications and client service skills
