Job Summary
Electrical Engineer (Power) at Hanwha Ocean – responsible for electrical design for EPC projects including Combined Cycle power, Gas Engine, BESS, and renewable facilities. Duties include delivering engineering deliverables (SOW, BOD, design philosophies, functional specs), performing feasibility through commissioning support, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external vendors, ensuring code compliance (IEC, IEEE, NEC, NEMA), and supporting procurement, FAT/SAT, and handover activities. Requires strong technical problem-solving, international project coordination, and proficiency with electrical design tools and platforms (ETAP, DigSILENT, SKM, AVEVA UE, SPEL, AutoCAD). Fluency in English and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional certification or chartership is an added advantage
- Minimum 5 years of overall electrical engineering experience
- At least 2 years in EPC power projects
- Experience with electrical system analysis tools such as ETAP, Dig SILENT or SKM
- Experience with AVEVA UE (1D and 2D), SPEL, AutoCAD, MS Office 365
