Job Summary
Instrument Designer conducts process design and drafting under Principal or Lead Engineer, Lead Designer or Sr Designer supervision mainly for Onshore and power plant facilities. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Engineering Management Platform and design tools (AVEVA, E3D, SP3D, AutoCAD etc). Key responsibilities include instrument design and drafting and 3D modeling for onshore oil & gas facilities, developing instrument design databases in engineering tools, extracting 2D deliverables from 3D models, participating in model review milestones, and coordinating with multi-discipline teams to ensure timely, quality deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical / Instrumentation / Chemical
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the onshore oil and gas industry
- Well versed with instrument design tools such as AutoCAD, AVEVA / E3D / SP3D / PDMS
- Good understanding in English, with good oral and written communication skills
