Job Summary
Online Survey Lead to oversee the live delivery of offshore/remote survey acquisition operations from the ROC. Responsibilities include leading day-to-day survey acquisition activities, supervising surveyors and acquisition teams during live operations, ensuring data quality and QA/QC compliance, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues to maintain operational continuity, preparing projects for mobilisation with system checks and readiness validation, interfacing with Technical Authority – Survey and stakeholders, supporting tender reviews and project planning input, maintaining accurate operational reporting and logs, and driving standardisation and continuous improvements across operations. The role requires strong leadership of survey acquisition teams, deep understanding of survey systems and sensors, a data-quality focus, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in survey acquisition across offshore and/or remote operations
- Proven leadership of online survey teams in a live operational environment
- Solid understanding of survey systems, sensors and acquisition workflows
- Strong focus on data quality, operational discipline and delivery standards
- Confident decision-maker, able to resolve issues in real time and under pressure
- Effective communicator who can bridge technical, operational and project teams
