Online Respiratory Therapy Instructor

Deliver online respiratory therapy course material aligned with the college curriculum; manage administrative duties including attendance, SLO data, timely grading, and outreach to students. Leverage student achievement data to drive program improvement, participate in program reviews and assessments, and ensure adherence to accreditation standards. Collaborate with advisory and faculty councils, build industry networks, and engage in student services activities such as orientation and career services events. Provide proactive student advisement and tutoring; mentor new faculty; ensure equipment and textbooks meet standards; support persistence, retention, graduation, and exam/placement metrics; work with cross-department teams to ensure learner success; maintain professionalism; provide consistent attendance and full class-time instruction; serve as substitute instructor as needed. Demonstrates instructional skills, content knowledge, dependability, and a student achievement focus; requires RCP/RRT credentials and a Master’s degree.
