Job Summary
Conduct virtual patient assessments, review medical histories, and provide appropriate treatment while ordering and interpreting lab tests. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by building therapeutic relationships and prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine). Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care, maintaining accurate medical documentation for continuity. Stay current on medical advancements and telehealth best practices. Commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with assistance provided for obtaining additional state licenses.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
