Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment decisions. Order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and maintain comprehensive medical documentation. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure continuity of care while staying current on telehealth innovations and best practices. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered relationships in a streamlined environment with no administrative burdens. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days, with assistance provided for obtaining state licenses and DEA certification. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities using advanced telemedicine technology.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
