Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Maintain medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovation and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with onboarding requiring buprenorphine training. Active medical licenses in three or more U.S. states (five preferred) and DEA certification are required. Join a telemedicine network focused on addiction care and underserved communities, supported by streamlined EMRs and full malpractice coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
