Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, including ordering lab tests and prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine). Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive outcomes. Maintain accurate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days, with assistance provided for obtaining state licenses. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities via streamlined telemedicine platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
