Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, while ordering labs, prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine), and maintaining documentation. Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships and collaborate with nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care. Stay current with telehealth innovations and medical advancements. Maintain an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five, including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX) and hold DEA certification. Commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days, scheduling one week in advance. Complete required training, including buprenorphine modules, and work from anywhere with full compensation and malpractice coverage. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
