Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions, while prescribing medications and guiding proper usage. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and maintain appropriate medical documentation. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with scheduling one week in advance. Requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and a DEA certification. Join a network of physicians expanding access to care in underserved communities, focusing on addiction treatment and general telehealth services.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
- Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact
- As part of the onboarding process, all physicians are required to complete applicable training that may include buprenorphine training
