Job Summary
Conduct virtual patient assessments, review medical histories, and provide treatment for addiction care, weight management, and general telehealth services. Order and interpret lab tests, prescribe non-controlled medications, and guide proper usage of buprenorphine for opioid addiction. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care while maintaining detailed medical documentation. Stay current with telehealth innovation and best practices. Work 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) across four days, scheduling one week in advance. Requires active licenses in at least three U.S. states (preferably five), including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX, plus DEA certification. Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
- Complete applicable training that may include buprenorphine training
