Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and maintain accurate medical documentation. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Stay current with telehealth innovation and best practices while building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with one week scheduled in advance. Requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five, including CA, FL, NC, PA, TX), DEA certification, and experience in telehealth or high-volume settings. Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
