Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, while ordering labs and prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine). Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain medical documentation, stay current on telehealth innovations, and complete required training including buprenorphine protocols. Schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with assistance provided for obtaining state licenses in high-demand areas. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
