Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment decisions. Order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine, and maintain comprehensive medical documentation. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure continuity of care while building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Stay current with telehealth innovation and medical advancements to deliver high-quality medicine without traditional practice constraints. Work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, scheduling in advance. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities using streamlined EMR technology.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
- Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact
