Job Summary
Conduct virtual patient assessments, review medical histories, and prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine) to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions while maintaining appropriate medical documentation for continuity. Collaborate with nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Stay current on medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices. Maintain an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five), including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX, with a DEA certification and applicable CSL. Work 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, scheduling at least one week in advance. Complete required buprenorphine training during onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
