Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance, excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care and maintain accurate medical documentation. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth innovation. Maintain an active license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and commit to 15 core weekly hours (8AM-6PM) with advanced scheduling. Complete required training including buprenorphine certification. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
