Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment decisions. Order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Maintain accurate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovation and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with onboarding including buprenorphine training and EMR proficiency. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities through a streamlined practice environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX (three or more of the following states)
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
