Job Summary
Online Mental Health Counselor provides psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families via a secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, establishing personalized treatment plans, monitoring client progress, and maintaining timely clinical documentation in an EHR. You’ll manage your own availability and calendar as a 1099 independent contractor, set your own schedule, and deliver sessions remotely with complete autonomy. Must hold an active, unrestricted license to practice therapy in your state (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LPC, LMHC, PsyD, or PhD) and possess or be willing to obtain professional liability insurance. The role offers 100% remote work with marketing, credentialing, billing, and technical support handled by the company; compensation is hourly per completed session.
Required Qualifications

- Malpractice insurance (professional liability insurance)
