Job Summary
Online Math Teacher at Holston Academy (a Stanza Education School): plan, organize, and deliver individualized online instruction using provided curriculum and resources; provide meaningful feedback via LMS; deliver virtual or in-person sessions as appropriate; develop supplemental materials to support student learning; welcome new students promptly; set goals and monitor progress with collaboration from Academic Coach, parents, and students; personalize curriculum in collaboration with department peers; model a respectful, high-expectation learning environment; establish clear objectives and standards; document progress in SIS; implement targeted interventions; maintain regular communication with students and parents; attend bi-weekly staff meetings; review coursework within 48 business hours; administer and grade assessments with retries to support mastery; maintain accurate student records; work independently in a fast-paced environment; perform assigned administrative duties; demonstrated knowledge of private/online school environments; ability to use LMS/SIS systems; strong customer service and communication skills; willingness to travel for job duties; intermediate MS Office skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid State Teaching Credential is preferred but not required
- Teaching experience required
- Experience teaching in an online learning environment is preferred
