Job Summary
Instructional Design Assistant for the Global Campus supports online and hybrid course design and delivery. Responsibilities include assisting Instructional Designers with setting up, arranging, and editing course documents; organizing and maintaining LMS course pages (Canvas); coordinating course documents and schedules; converting course documents to departmental design standards; applying contemporary educational practices to online and hybrid learning; learning and applying quality online instructional design; collaborating with Global Campus staff; using educational software and tools (Canvas LMS, Google Docs, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Creative Cloud, video review software, AI tools); reporting to the Lead Instructional Designer on task status; performing other duties as assigned by supervisor; bachelor’s degree required; typical office environment 8:00 am–5:00 pm; experience with online learning is a plus.
