Job Summary
Conduct online French tutoring sessions through our video platform for high school students in Ontario. Observe and evaluate student skill levels to determine progress and work toward improvement within our tutoring program. Collaborate with parents and guardians to create personalized academic plans and timelines. Assist students with homework completion, concept mastery, and getting ahead in class while acting as a mentor. Maintain availability during weeknights after 4 PM and weekends, with a minimum commitment of eight hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English
- Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's Degree
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Ontario
- Good knowledge of the Ontario French curriculum
- Have access to a computer with a webcam and a stable internet connection
- Be available during some weeknights (past 4 PM) and weekends
- Available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Being able to tutor other high school subjects (i.e. English, Math, Science)
