Job Summary
Online English Language Arts Teacher responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering an individualized online learning experience using provided curriculum and LMS/SIS tools; deliver virtual instructional sessions, provide timely feedback, monitor student progress, and collaborate with Academic Coach, parents, and students to assign appropriate courses of study; maintain student records, communicate with families weekly, participate in bi-weekly staff meetings, and administer/grade assessments with opportunities for mastery; requires a Bachelor’s degree and online teaching experience; remote position with part-time schedule and potential travel for related duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required
- Valid State Teaching Credential is preferred but not required
- Teaching experience required; Experience teaching in an online learning environment is preferred
- This is a remote position
- Able to work in a rapidly growing and changing environment
