Job Summary

Design, review, and approve program curriculum while developing policies to support mission and outcomes. Hire, evaluate, and supervise all program faculty, including preparing advertisements, interviewing applicants, and providing performance feedback. Teach a course load consistent with faculty handbook standards, redesign one course annually, and manage student affairs such as transfer credit and application reviews. Maintain curriculum alignment with university and accreditation standards by preparing outcomes assessment reports and participating in program reviews. Engage in an ongoing research agenda and maintain professional competency through scholarly activities and continuing education.

Required Qualifications

PhD, DBA or other terminal degree in Business Administration or a closely related discipline
Evidence of quality research completed in the last ten years
Instructional experience and working in a team environment
Computer literate in software and internet-based applications
Proficient in APA style
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to view and manage roles and responsibilities in relation to the larger mission, goals, and perspective of the University
Collaborative nature, with the ability to build consensus
Outstanding organizational and project management skills with the ability to consistently meet deadlines
Self-motivated and solves problems, asking for input and initiating solutions as appropriate and reasonable
Capacity to quickly learn new software applications
Willingness to receive additional training and/or faculty mentoring
Ability to demonstrate good judgment when interacting with students, other faculty, and staff
Access to a reliable internet connection
Must have the ability to travel to Dallas and Abilene from time to time
Must be a professing Christian
Willingness to support the Christian mission of ACU
Must be able to use the computer and remain stationary for long periods of time
Must be able to speak, read, write, and hear clearly
Must be able to work well under pressure and manage stress well
