Online Assistant

Online Assistant role at Sainsbury’s involves selecting high-quality products for online orders ready for delivery, with smart substitutions when items are out of stock. You’ll use a handheld device to plan routes around the store, process orders, help load vans for Home Delivery Drivers, and handle customer queries. Build knowledge of products, services and promotions to provide recommendations, and work flexibly across the store as required. The role requires an early start (often around 4am), a fast-paced, physical environment, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while using new digital tools to improve the shopping experience.
