Online Assistant

Online Assistant at Sainsbury’s: responsibilities include selecting quality products for online orders ready for delivery, offering substitutions when items are out of stock, using a handheld device to plan routes and manage picking, processing customer queries, loading vans for home delivery, supporting customers with questions, building product and promotion knowledge to provide recommendations, and working flexibly across the store. The role demands early starts (as shifts begin around 4am), a fast-paced, physical environment, initiative to solve problems, and the ability to learn new digital tools and handle up to 15kg. Training across a variety of skills and opportunities to learn and develop are provided.
