Job Summary
The Onion Shed Forklift Operator consolidates products on orders, warehouses, and rotates products, and performs loading and unloading. Responsibilities include receiving and labeling, loading/unloading to trucks and pallets, lifting up to 60 lbs, bagging/strapping/repacking/restickering, rotating cold room inventory for FIFO shipping, maintaining a clean and damage-free packing area, hand-stacking when needed, ensuring safe operation of equipment, reporting damage, and complying with GMP. The role requires following safety procedures, operating in a cold storage environment, weighing materials, recording weights, and adhering to rotating shift schedules; travel to various locations may be required. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma/GED, 1-3 months related experience, ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions, communicate effectively, and forklift operator certification. The role emphasizes safety, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
