Job Summary
Conduct outpatient Hematology/Oncology services in Waterloo, IA, managing a daily clinic volume of 16-20 patients with limited inpatient responsibilities at MercyOne Cedar Falls Medical Center. Administer chemotherapy, perform bone marrow biopsies, and manage IVIG, iron infusions, and phlebotomies while supported by two nurses, lab staff, and dedicated social work and reception teams. Work a Mon-Thurs schedule of approximately 16 shifts per month, including one weeknight call and one weekend coverage. Requires Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology, an active Iowa license, and experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Hematology & Oncology
- Fellowship trained in Hematology & Oncology
- Active Iowa license or active IMLC
- Clean malpractice/background history
- NPDB self-query required at presentation
- Must be available at least 2 weeks/month
- 1 weekend/month
- 1 weeknight block and 1 weekend/month (phone call only)
Desired Qualifications
- Will consider Board Certified Oncology physicians with strong Hem/Onc experience
- Experienced physicians preferred, but new grads will be considered
