Job Summary
The RN provides direct one-to-one nursing care to students with identified medical needs in a school setting, including daily health assessments, development and updating of individualized healthcare and nursing care plans, and administration of medications per physician orders. Responsibilities include communicating with parents/guardians and school teams, maintaining confidential medical documentation, and adhering to FERPA, HIPAA, and CCSD policies. Requires a Georgia RN license and CPR certification; Spanish-English bilingual candidates are encouraged. Schedule aligns with the CCSD academic calendar on a school-based basis.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or special education preferred
- Spanish-English bilingual candidates encouraged
