Conduct day-to-day support in a substance use care setting by providing structure, safety, and a listening ear to visitors while de-escalating conflicts and intervening in threatening situations. Engage in continuous communication to address behavior respectfully, signal care needs, and refer individuals to appropriate support services. Manage administrative tasks, household duties, and thorough verbal and written handovers between shifts. Operate under a rotating schedule including morning, evening, and occasional night duties across weekdays and weekends. Maintain a strength-based, recovery-oriented approach aligned with Krachtwerk methodology to help guests stabilize their daily lives and transition to suitable follow-up placements.
