Job Summary
Gohfr Contractor Driver delivers goods from the client’s service center to locations within a ~200-mile range on an on-demand basis with flexible evening, weekend, and holiday availability. The role supports local facilities, requires a reliable vehicle (car, SUV, or truck), a valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL not required), and 3+ years of driving/delivery experience (medical or gig economy preferred). Drivers use the Gohfr app to receive delivery alerts, must pass criminal and motor vehicle background checks, submit a W-9 for 1099 contract classification, maintain professional appearance, and communicate effectively with clients. Requires 21+ years of age, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and access to a smartphone with data plan; bilingual drivers are welcome.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- Reliable vehicle: car, SUV, or truck
- Own a smartphone (iOS or Android) with data plan for using the Gohfr app
- Valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL not required)
- 3+ years of proven driving/delivery experience (medical or gig economy preferred)
- Experience with other gig platforms (e.g., Uber, DoorDash, Amazon Flex) highly desirable
- Pass criminal and motor vehicle background checks
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Fluent in English (bilingual drivers welcome)
- Maintain vehicle insurance, registration, and inspection
- Submit a completed IRS Form W-9 for 1099 contract classification
- Professional appearance and current profile photo in app
- Ability to lift and transport packages up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions
- Reliable availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays
