Job Summary
Lead and supervise the AVES Oncology department as a veterinary technician supervisor, overseeing technical staff, coordinating scheduling and training, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining professional inter- and intradepartmental communications. Responsibilities include direct supervision of Oncology staff, staff development and performance reviews, routine SOP updates, monthly department meetings, cross-functional collaboration with education, and ongoing engagement with doctors to optimize department workflow and patient-care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT) preferred but not required
- At least 2 years+ of supervisory or lead veterinary technicians experience required
