Job Summary
Conduct patient check-ins and coordinate infusion, chemotherapy, and radiation oncology appointments across multiple providers. Schedule, reschedule, and manage internal and external referrals while verifying insurance details and assisting with prior authorizations. Maintain provider schedules, update clinic resources, and ensure HIPAA compliance during daily operations. Provide basic patient education on scheduled procedures and support continuity of care within the Cancer Center.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from MA
- experience in Medical Terminology
- Basic math skills
- keyboard/typing skills
- proficient, and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent patient experience skills
- Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process
- Must be able to attend the work site per schedule
