Job Summary
Field-based Oncology/Hematology sales specialist for Long Island NY (covering Long Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens). Responsibilities include executing sales strategies for oncology therapeutics, demonstrating clinical efficacy of products, providing clinical information and support to customers, achieving sales quotas, developing account strategies and pre-/post-call plans, cultivating physician and other healthcare stakeholder relationships, understanding reimbursement and health-economics considerations, utilizing approved materials and local marketing strategies, collaborating with the Innovative Medicine team, and completing required training and compliance activities.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years direct selling experience in pharmaceutical/biologic/biotech with documented success OR relevant clinical experience
- Experience in hospital and large account sales with understanding of reimbursement and managed care dynamics
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to identify key decision-makers
- Willingness/ability to travel including overnights and weekends
