Oncology RN

Conduct comprehensive assessments, provide holistic nursing care, and notify physicians of significant changes. Develop, direct, and evaluate individualized care plans including patient and family education and discharge planning. Prepare patients for procedures, implement physician orders, and ensure safety protocols including medication administration. Regularly reassess patient responses to interventions, adapt care to changing needs, and communicate with physicians for modifications. Utilize Bedside Shift Report, provide thorough patient updates, and delegate tasks for seamless care transitions. Maintain a safe patient and work environment, promptly address hazards, and contribute to quality and patient satisfaction initiatives. Bachelor of Science in Nursing, one year RN experience, and Texas RN license required. Basic Life Support certification needed within 14 days.
