Oncology Pharmacist- Per Diem

Job Summary
The Oncology Pharmacist role involves providing quality pharmaceutical care for patients at the Bennett Cancer Center, accurately preparing and dispensing medications, and ensuring safe medication therapies. The pharmacist demonstrates a strong understanding of chemotherapy, biotherapy, and immunotherapy regimens, and provides drug information to health professionals and patients. Responsibilities include monitoring patient therapies, addressing drug-related problems, supervising pharmacy personnel, and participating in quality improvement activities. Candidates should have a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D., a minimum of one year of relevant experience, and must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Pharmacy
- Minimum 1 year experience in admixture of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and biotherapies
- Licensed or eligible for license as a Registered Pharmacist in Connecticut
Desired Qualifications
- Pharm.D.
Additional Requirements
- Previous experience in an institutional setting preferred
