Job Summary
Screen oncology patients for Phase II–IV trial eligibility using physician schedules, pathology reports, and referrals while managing approximately 40–50 active studies. Obtain informed consent, enroll eligible patients, and coordinate care with physicians, infusion, radiology, and laboratory teams. Monitor patient safety, document outcomes, report adverse events, and maintain accurate clinical trial documentation and regulatory records. Apply protocol requirements to ensure compliance with study procedures. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, initially on-site in Somerset, NJ, then transitioning to a four-day on-site, one-day remote schedule. Comprehensive on-the-job training in clinical trials is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital or outpatient center
- Oncology nursing experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Confidence to be appropriately assertive in advocating for protocol adherence and patient safety
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in document and data management tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Teams, and SharePoint

- Comfortable learning and using clinical systems such as OnCoreTM, electronic medical records, and other clinical trial management tools
- Inoculated annually for Influenza
- Successfully pass a Mantoux Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) for Mycobacterium Tuberculosis
