Job Summary
Locum tenens Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for an outpatient clinic in Bellflower, CA. Schedule typically Monday–Friday with two providers covering 8:30a–5:00p and 10:00a–6:30p. Responsibilities include follow-up and some new patient visits (3, 6, 12 month appointments), coordinating emails with ancillary services, ordering oncology tests, refilling prescriptions, following up on treatment, and preparing patients prior to chemotherapy. Bone marrow biopsy highly preferred; may see inpatient and some virtual patients from the clinic.
