Job Summary
Conduct outpatient oncology clinic coverage, managing follow-up and new patient appointments for 3, 6, and 12-month intervals. Coordinate with ancillary services, order oncology tests, refill prescriptions, and oversee treatment plans including pre-chemotherapy visits. Perform bone marrow biopsies and see both inpatient and virtual patients. Work Monday through Friday in shifts from 8:30a-5:00p or 10:00a-6:30p. Requires an active California license; credentialing takes 60+ days. AMN Healthcare provides malpractice insurance and handles travel logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Active California license
- Monday - Friday schedule
- 8:30a-5:00p or 10:00a-6:30p shift availability
