Job Summary
Registered Nurse on the Oncology Unit (2A) providing direct nursing care from admission to discharge. The RN will function as an on-shift team member delivering care to chemotherapy/oncology patients, hospice, telemetry and post-op patients in a 10-bed unit. Unit offers opportunities to develop chemotherapy and oncology-specific skills in a med/surg environment. Full-time role with Days 7am-7pm; 36 hours weekly; located 10 minutes from downtown Louisville in New Albany, IN. Requires Indiana RN license, BLS, Chemo Certification within 12 months, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. New graduate LPNs/RNs welcome; facility designated Pathway to Excellence/Magnet; EOE; drug-free workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- Chemo Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire)
- Minimum of one (1) year of previous nursing experience required to hold a PRN position
- New Graduate LPNs and RNs are welcome
