Job Summary
Proactively engage with allied healthcare professionals to deliver product and disease education covering patient management, dosing, administration, and side effect mitigation. Develop customized educational plans by analyzing account dynamics and clinical insights, then interpret approved clinical topics for diverse audiences through 1:1 presentations, round-table discussions, and podium talks. Educate teams on infusion processes, adverse event management, and appropriate patient diagnosis while utilizing strategic questioning to document and share clinical insights. Support internal sales teams by enhancing training initiatives and improving clinical competencies, and provide staff support at exhibit booths. Collaborate across internal functional areas including sales, marketing, and clinical operations to advance the Oncology business.
Required Qualifications
- Clinical degree including Bachelor's degree in Nursing or NP
- Three or more years of combined clinical experience and/or pharmaceutical sales, clinical educator, or medical affairs experience (Oncology preferred)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time, including the ability to travel overnight and occasionally on weekends
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications
Desired Qualifications
- Master's level education preferred
- Experience working in or supporting patients and HCPs in the infusion center setting, including the development/implementation of chemotherapy/biologics infusion procedures and protocols for therapy administration and patient safety monitoring is preferred
- Excellent communication(s), objective setting, influencing, business acumen, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated experience adapting to change and embracing learning
- Demonstrated experience interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data
- Recognizes evolving shifts in oncology market trends and respective effects on provider and patient
- Success operating within a cross-functional team
