Job Summary
Coordinate multi-disciplinary oncology care across sites; serve as the primary clinical contact; develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; educate and support patients, families, and caregivers; promote exceptional patient experience; ensure adherence to treatment plans through ongoing contact between visits; collaborate with care teams and organize education/training for the care team; starting hourly rate is $51.65 with compensation varying by qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
- Certification or eligibility for Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time oncology nursing experience or critical care experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time medical-surgical experience in an acute care setting and completion of Roswell Park Nursing orientation with the ability to function independently at a satisfactory level for three (3) months as a Nurse I at Roswell Park; OR Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time medical-surgical experience in an acute care setting; OR Associate’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time oncology nursing experience or critical care experience; OR Associate’s degree in Nursing, the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time medical-surgical experience in an acute care setting and completion of Roswell Park Nursing orientation with the ability to function independently at a satisfactory level for three (3) months as a Nurse I at Roswell Park; OR Associate’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time medical-surgical experience in an acute care setting
