Job Summary
Lead scientific exchanges with oncologists, urologists and key MDT members; develop and implement a tailored local medical strategy to meet USMA priorities in oncology within New York, Connecticut, and Northern New Jersey; provide medical and scientific support for AstraZeneca's oncology products and new indications; summarize clinical data concisely and convey relevant information to internal teams; stay current with marketed products, emerging data, and trial landscapes; collaborate with Clin Ops on Ph3 trials from feasibility to execution; travel 40-60% domestically to engage external stakeholders; require an advanced scientific degree and 2+ years MSL experience; excellent communication and project management skills; ability to operate in a matrix environment.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree required (e.g. Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD, PA or NP)
- 2+ years of MSL experience or relevant therapeutic area experience
- Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content and context to multiple audiences
- Ability to travel (40-60% by car/plane domestic)
- Ability to work independently and in groups
- Territory includes: New York state (not NYC or LI), Connecticut and Northern New Jersey
