Job Summary
Perform primary and secondary patient assessments, document findings accurately, and communicate systematic reports to care providers. Manage patient care by implementing individualized plans of care for cancer treatments, chemotherapy, biotherapy, and blood products while monitoring side effects and symptoms. Coordinate care delivery by triaging patients and utilizing resources to promote the continuum of care in infusion and radiation oncology departments. Work under the guidance of experienced clinicians to evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes using evidence-based practice.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Associate Degree Nursing
- Must complete BSN within 5 years of hire
- 1 or more years med surg/acute care
- 1 or more years oncology experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Multi-State - State Board of Nursing
- Must have current active multistate state Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in state in which you live
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree Nursing
- Chemo Certification - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Certification preferred for Infusion/Treatment departments
