Job Summary
Oncology Hospitalist needed to manage medical issues on the Oncology service within a physician-led, multispecialty group. Works closely with ambulatory Medical Oncologists; supported by a dedicated Oncology APP for notes and call coverage. The service cares for 10-20 patients with 1.0 FTE over 182 annual shifts, and a 7 on/7 off schedule with full APP support and no on-call responsibilities. The position is based at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, with a dedicated 10-bed inpatient unit and access to subspecialty consultation. Eligible candidates will have MD or DO, completed internal medicine residency, ABIM/ABPS board certification (or within 3 years), Idaho licensure, and DEA/controlled-substance registration. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency completed
- Board certified or board certification within 3 years via ABIM/ABPS
- Idaho medical licensure and privileges at SARMC Boise
- DEA registration and controlled substance registration
