Job Summary
Hospitalist responsible for managing the medical issues of oncology inpatients within a 650+ provider multispecialty group, collaborating closely with ambulatory Medical Oncologists and supported by an Oncology APP. The selected physician will work a 1.0 FTE schedule of 7 days on/7 days off, with no call responsibilities and inpatient coverage provided by a dedicated 10-bed unit and APP support. Compensation includes base pay plus RVU production pay and a quality bonus, with recruitment packages that may include sign-on incentives, relocation, and comprehensive benefits. The role demands board-certified or soon-to-be-certified internal medicine specialists with an MD/DO and Idaho licensure, to join Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Boise.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency program
- Board certified or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment through the ABIM or ABPS
- Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC - Boise
- Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
