Job Summary
Execute marketing strategies, deliver branded sales messages, and promote Incyte's proprietary therapeutics to oncology and hematology customers through in-person, virtual, or hybrid channels. Manage total account relationships by ensuring product access, triaging medical or reimbursement issues, and providing feedback on marketing tool effectiveness. Represent the company in a compliant, ethical manner while demonstrating deep clinical knowledge of disease states and maintaining a strategically developed business plan. Consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets within the local market, utilizing strong business analytics and account management skills. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to travel as required, and several years of biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience.
Required Qualifications
- Local Oncology market knowledge
- Customer centric selling approach
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record, or the ability to obtain one if required for the role
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in matrix teams
- Demonstrate ability to gain consistent access and develop strong professional relationships with health care providers in community and academic settings
- History of successful sales performance documented in annual reviews and sales reports
- Demonstrate strong business analytics and account management skills
- Minimum of relevant experience in the Hematology/Oncology market
- Minimum of several years of successful biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience
- The ability to travel is required using various modes of transportation (car, air, train, etc.)
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Product 'access' knowledge
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage with diverse audiences
- Strong business planning acumen
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- Preference for experience in hematology
