ONCOLOGY - FINANCIAL NAVIGATOR LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN), Part-time Days

Job Summary
Verify insurance benefits, precertification requirements, and coverage for scheduled oncology services. Identify coverage gaps, high deductibles, and co-pays to pursue patient assistance options. Coordinate individualized patient care plans, implement provider orders, and evaluate nursing care. Assist patients with medication assistance programs, financial paperwork, and "white bag" medication processes. Maintain communication with insurance companies and support patients with transportation, housing, and medical bill needs. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, pharmacies, and insurance providers. Work part-time, 40 hours bi-weekly, 1st shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Fulton County Health Center.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a medical office or insurance-related setting
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year experience in a medical office or insurance-related setting
- Experience or education related to CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding
